suburban big brakes.....
#1
did brakes all the way around on a suburban the other day and noticed it had dual piston calipers, same size, front and rear.....
rotors looked the same as on my 02 truck so i was wandering if switching to suburban brakes would help me stop me and my dads boat any better? i am sure i can find some at salvage so it seems a cheep upgrade that i dont have to go aftermarket to get better stoping....thanks for the replies!!

mine are single piston.....i was thinking of swaping to the duals in the back and poss. a hydro-boost setup, a solid braking foundation for future engine mods that will have less than optimal vacuume...and it is all "stock" equipment....

Ive done a suburban brake swap on the rear of myn... Helps out alot.... You need the calipers, rotors (alot thicker and disipate the heat better), and the caliper brackets. The e-brake shoes are the same. Thats it...
