Johnny will be doing the install. He has done several of my cousin and friend trucks as well as my brothers and he knows his ****. He has been installing gears for around 15 years.

Heres the list guys...

1. Detroit Trutrac part # 913A481
2. Motive Ring and Pinion part # G885410
3. Randy's R&P BK kit + wheel seal & housing gasket.
4. 3 quarts of diff fluid.

am I missing anything?

And a new pinion nut if it doesn't come in the kit. Most kits have them though.

Doh!!! I how could I forget the beer.

The pinion nut comes with the bearing kit.




Should be calling Randy's Ring and Pinion tommorow. Hopefully I will get the Trutrac for $345 too. LINK I know Summitracing sells Motive gears for $160 LINK so maybe they can price match that as well... unless they are already more affordable there. ...



Thanks for all the help guys, I'll let you know how it all goes. Should be taking the truck to the track by the 21st. Hopefully I'll get a new best.

Ok last question....I couldn't find any Motive Gear products on Randy's R&P site. Does anyone know if they carry this brand?
