i emailed ground force the other day to see if they had a 2/4 kit for my 2007 nnbs ecsb 4x4 with the Z60 susp. and they said they were looking for a test truck like mine and i would get a free kit out of them. im only about 45 min away from their shop so it isnt out of the way. The catch is they need the truck for 2 weeks to spec out the parts, then after they get the parts in they need it again for 2 weeks for testing. I really dont want to give her up for a month. What do u guys think. Im not sure even if i could do without for a month if i really want them to tear apart every aspect of the susp. as im sure they will use it for every possible kit they would make, not just what i want.Help me out.

 

I would wait for the kit to come out! You are only talking about ~$500, if that.

1 month does not = drop kit.

im might let them do it on mine (01 model) IF i had another form of transportation but no way in hell in a brand new one

if it were my brand new '07, there's no way in hell someone would be anywhere near it with a torch or any kind of cutting tool LOL... just my 2 pesos...

 

For my brand new truck I would talk with Hotchkis or Mcgaughy's and see if they have anything yet and go with one of them. I think the fitment would be much better in my opinion

 

Even with the high end guys, they only get the good fitment by hacking on the prototype more than the cheaper brands. You are wise to be cautious.

 

I guess I am just cheap. I was thinking Hell YA, free stuff!....but I am in the minority on this one.

 

I used to work for a sister company of ground force. Mark German the owner of ground force is awesome. They are located in Uniontown PA. id go for it. A few of the managers used to do it and everything always turned out with great results.
