Default Shackles Rear coming., Have ?'s

I ordered some Belltech 6401 2-3 '' lowering shackles. Want to drop the back.

The salesman said with this kit in a ECSB shims are needed, Any of you guys needed shims? I ordered them just in case.

Should i also remove the rear block??

I want to just lower the front by lowering the Tbars, or if i have to get purple keys.??

Looking for just a mild 2'' front and 3'' rear drop.

Thanks

You will probably get almost 2.5-3" total with shackles and block removal. Their shouldnt be a need for shims imo unless something is already really wrong back there angle wise..
Also im not a 4x4 guy, but im pretty sure you can get 2" in the front (max) with just a decrank, but you might have to cut the front bumpstops a little..

I'm a rcsb, but when I removed my lift blocks, installed Belltech 2" shackles, and spring clamps, I didn't need any shims...actually lowering my truck cured a vibration that I had at 65mph with my 33's lol. I used Belltech lowering keys in the front, but I think that you can get about 1 1/2" comfortably by decranking the factory keys. You will definitely need to trim the front bump stops...you want them just touching the LCA's with the truck at rest.

Tim, mine's an 02 ECSB Z71. Was "leveled" with Rough Country kit, now lowered with the same shackles you ordered, and the rear blocks removed. For the front, I chose the Ebay Spring Tech lowering spindles in front with stock t bars though. Not pleased at all with the KYB Monomax shocks I chose though.

anyway...

On 20's, although driveway angle gives false raked look in 1st pic:
