Default Rough Riding 2000 Silvy ECSB

My 2000 Silverado ECSB 2wd seems to ride very rough. If I have to travel on any bumpy roads it will shake, buck, and vibrate all over the place. I have inspected the suspension myself, and even taken it to the dealership. I can't find anything wrong nor can the dealership. The only thing that was noted was the passenger side hub was worn so I had them replace it. The truck has newer Sensa-Trac's on it and everything looks good. The problem doesn't seem to be at just one corner, in the front, or in the back. It's like the whole thing. Could it be the Sensa-Trac's?

I have rode in a few of my friends trucks ranging in years from 1997 to the 2007 Classic some of them 2wd and some 4wd. My truck seems to have alot more ridged ride than everyone elses truck. A buddy of mines dad has a 2006 F-250 ECLB Turbo Diesel 4wd and my truck rides about as rough as it does. What gives?

Dude same **** here. It bugs the **** out of me how rough my ride is. This is my first vehicle with 20" wheels, and I have put KYB MonoMax shocks all 'round, and Belltech shackles. My tires are 55 sidewalls, so that's as good as they can get for cushioning. It is funny that ours are both 2000 ECSB, maybe it's some weird year model thing.

My friend has a 1997 ECSB with drop shackles, 18", and performance shocks and it rides soo much smoother than mine.

My is all factory still except for the Sensa-Trac shocks, and I have a set of 2005 Tahoe Z71 wheels with the 265 70 r17 Goodyear Wrangler AT/S's. I thought they would smooth out the ride a bit but I was wrong. I don't get it at all. It's not to the point that a CD will skip but like you it bugs me. I want mine to ride nice and smooth.

What's your tire preasure at? My tires say to put 65psi in, but the tire shop said to run more like 50psi. I didn't believe them until I put the preasure to 65psi, it rode like I had no springs. My cup holders, stuff in the glove box, and behind the seat rattled, and bounced around. So, I put it back to 50psi and now it rides like a car.

One question gentlemen! Do you guys have your torsion bars turned up any? If you turn your torsion bars up over 3 revolutions, then the more you go, the rougher the ride.

It's got to be these shocks. Anyone ever had any dealings with the Sensa-Tracs, good or bad?
