Default R,D,3,2,1 nothing!!!

wife used the truck yesterday driving on the highway when it acted like it was in neutral (she said no noise no nothing) i took the drive shaft off to tow it and checked again putting it in gear, transmission wount move a bit

last time i broke it it started slipping and stuff like that so this is new to me

any ideas what it might be?

this is my second performabuilt 4l60e lev 2 so if its something big then im going 4l80e

checked fluid couple of weeks ago after the 6.0 swap and all good, u think the pump went out?

Yep!
mine did the same thing.. cruising down the interstate at 70.. then all of a sudden its on the rev limiter.. NO gears.
ears on the pump broke for some reason.. i had put about 4k miles on it too.
I was so pissed i held it on the 6800rpm rev limiter for a long time.. It didnt blowup so i got the pump fixed and then that trans broke and i went with the 80E from there.. much much happier with it.

so u fixed the pump and then how many miles later did the trans broke?

u think i might have a chance after fixing the pump?

not long.. maybe 5000 miles.. broke the output shaft.

ok u think it had something to do with the pump problem or just bad trans quality?

I put about 1000 miles on mine before my pump grenaded from not getting the converter seated well

dunno.. it shifted too hard and i had adjusted the pressures down in the tune as far as it would go.. didnt help so kept driving it.
i didnt know much about transmissions back then tho.
