Default Question about raising truck back up???

I currently have the hotchkis 2/4 drop kit on my '99 ecsb. I know this sounds crazy but I want to lift it back up. My job has me doing a little more offroading but nothing crazy. I love the drop but I'm ready for a change. Anyways, whenever I installed the kit I had to cut a bracket out where my driveshaft is. Hotchkis has their own bracket which is in there now. I assume I had to do this because I was changing the angle of the driveshaft when I lowered it. Now that I want to go back to stock do I need to do anything special? Do I just keep using the piece they provided? Is their a replacement piece I can get?
Also, I still have my original springs. They have been sitting in my garage for about 9 years. Are they effected any by being in garage under zero load? Basically, will I need to get new ones?

Does anyone know if I raise my truck back up, will I have any issues with that
bracket on the drive shaft? Do I need to get a new one? Do I even have to change anything?

when I went back up with mine, I added some spacers to adjust the driveshaft.

Springs should be fine. Not sure what bracket you had to cut, but I would put it back to stock.

Its an adjustable bracket for the driveshaft, the 2 piece ones.It can be adjusted some to remove vibrations. The only way to put it back is to weld it back in, either do that or add some spacers to move the driveshaft down some. I made some simple ones from some square metal tubing. If you want to do some welding and dont have the plate that was removed, you could always weld a new plate up there and just drill some new holes.

Thats the one. I had a 3/5 drop and installed the bracket on mine(its meant to be put on to remove any vibrations and to adjust the shaft after lowering), then I took off the lowering kit and just added some simple spacers to bring it back to stock location. The thread isnt about whether to add the adjustable bracket or not, he already has it installed, the original was cutout. There are only three options, weld back in original piece, weld in new plate, or add spacers.

Did you put the spacers under the bracket? or under the transmission? I called Hotchkis yesterday and they basically told me that they don't have anything that could help me. Did you just eyeball everything? The spacer idea sounds the easiest. I guess I could go to a junk yard and cut a braket off truck there?

I put the spacers between the original mount holes and the new bracket with longer bolts. Yeah, hit up the junk yard and get an original.
