so you are saing most of the time if i just put the right shims on the left and left shims on the right, odds are it would be right?

I have a gear install kit and shims and all that good stuff. so if its not right, i got the stuff to fix it..

that is what i did and it worked but i was going from an open dif to a posi but the same should apply to both i did use a dial ind just to be sure. they said this method works 99.9% of the time

alright cool man, where you get your dial indicator?
Im in the process of finding one right now.. since i just got my truck back on the road, i can go find one.. haha.
