Yes we have at the shop but it has been a long time since we have had problems with them doing this. The problem will be more pronounced if you park on an incline. We fix it by pulling the driveshaft out wash the back of the yoke out with brake clean and then mix up a small amount of jb weld and smear it into the area in the yoke where the weap hole is using a popcicle stick. Let it cure for a while then reinstall it and it will never leak again.

Checked it this morning and it does have a hole about 1/16". Could there be a reason that it blew out or maybe just my luck.

I had no idea there was a weep hole in the yoke? Why is it there? The tranny has a vent tube on top...

Not all drivshafts have it. If yours does your trans output shaft sould have a slide on seal that the driveshaft slides into. That seal may have gone bad. Pull the tailhousing and you can see it and slide it off and look.

Your right I forgot there is a output shaft sleeve and it has a o-ring on it. Will have to check it tomorrow.

Well the sleeve is loose on the output shaft. I guess thats how the fluid was getting out. I went by a trans shop and asked and was told yeah it tends to happen what they do is silicone the hole let it sit over night and done. He told me you can get a new sleeve from dealer but they have had them come back for same problem. Do you guys think I should leave the old sleeve in or leave it out, I'm afraid if I leave it might cause back pressure since the hole will be jb welded shut.

I removed the sleeve since I jb welded the hole shut. Drove it so far no leaks and right now parked in an incline and no leaks. I also noticed the transmission mount was about 3/4 of the way cracked so I changed it maybe thats where my vibration is coming from.
