Not sure on the console but it is really close to stock 5 speed location

Sorry, thats what i mean, I don't want to swap in the huge console and loose my middle seat. I have a reg cab and would like for the shifter to be in the factory location, or close to it

yup then it can be done, I went from 5 to 6 in mine had to move the shifter back 1.5 inches using the fwd mounted shifter setup

about how hard is this going to be in an 07 classic, I researched a lot of it to find what i need, but still unclear on some stuff such as reluctor wheel count, and ill prolly just have blackbear do the tune

not hard at all need the 5 speed crossmember. clutch pedal. I have a clutch master but you will need the line to it. stock 5 speed trans mount. I also have the driveshaft you need for the swap .

Truck is automatic still need driveshaft, i thought the 60e shaft would work?

Yeah, the 60e driveshaft will work. It's what's in my truck right now.

But now I've got a question...

Anybody have any tips on how to install the clutch pedal assembly under the dash?? My bracket broke and I've been trying to pull out the old to install the new, and for the life of me I can't figure out how to get the old pedal assembly and bracket out of there without having to tear apart the whole dash. Any tips would be appreciated.
