whats so bad about the stock shifter? seems ok to me?

 

when you add a much-longer shifter for the truck application, you end up with some long-ish throws

 

i plan to do MGW, but the stocker is actually pretty decent...

 

Pro-5.0 FTW!!! But I have heard good reviews on the MGW.

 

i have a gm rip shifter which is identical to the pro 5.0, but i havent installed it yet. its definetly needed when doin the tahoe console though, the shifts are way to long.

 

So? Is this swap possible with the electronically adjustable pedals? (2003 2wd Tahoe)

 

finally off to get my 4.88s after driving for 9 months with 3.73s (dog)

I have an '03 automatic PCM, and I'm putting in a T56 -- Is there a definitive answer as to what you need to change in HPTuners when converting A4-M6?

I disabled PRNDL selector-type trans, removed engine-based torque mgmt, attempted to modify the speedometer....

Is there anything else you need to do? I'd like cruise eventually.

Clutch pedal is sticking to floor when shifting at wot. Has anybody drilled there master cylinder?

 

i looked at my 03 master and there appeared to not be anything to drill out.
