where is youre gear selector? IF ITS IN PARK it will cause reduce power, mine is in 2nd gear i believe, this way cruise control works, auto locks work and no codes

Odd, mine was in PARK and it wouldn't engage cruise control at all. However auto locks worked fine and I didn't have any codes (once I cleared the A4 stuff that was missing like solenoids and such). I have not had the truck back on the road since I started cutting the old wires out and wiring up the dedicated T56 stuff (clutch pedal and trans sensors).

think about it, if the bcm thinks its in park nothign else thats mph related isnt going to work properly. Least in 2nd which is GM's default things will still operate.

back in 07 i wrote all the wiring info needed for this swap. Detailed info of the black box and the wiring needed for the T56

so i finished the swap tonight, for whatever reason it says service brake system. anybody know why? another thing is i can stand the twin disk i put in it, what are some of the higher hp guys running for clutches?

a twin is a much better clutch setup then a puck clutch. i ran a vds puck clutch from ram i ******* hated it. it was a pure on and off clutch

i plan to run the mcleod twin disk the one for 1200 hp but got dig up cash for it. one of the reasons why the silverado isnt together yet

Yea there not cheap, if i could find something to hold around the 800ftlb range id be pretty happy. Have you looked into rps's twin disk. A friend of mine has one in his Twin turbo gto, its feels amazing with not an ounce of chatter. im thinking about goin that route.
