i also benchbled my master cylinder and let me say. any issue anyone ever has with the clutch being soft and engaging low. remove your mastercylinder and line and bench bleed it with a MityVac. took me about 40 minutes to get all the air out of it and its firm and hard as hell. its a Ram VDS and its a nice stiff clutch. now as for driving, thats a whole different story at moment....but will have full results hopefully in a week

nice job quik, im in the process of making my adjustable master. my clutch engaged only when pressed as hard as possible into the carpet and then an inch from there it was completely disengaged. i had to wedge a 15mm socket and a piece of rubber in the hole in the clutch pedal to space the master just so i could drive it. now it engauges right at the top, so i gotta make that adjustable master. on another note my ssr clutch is failing..... a custom one is being made due to the fact that the input shaft is bigger than the vettes and fbodys

thanks, right now my pedal is adjusted all way to the top. which sucks. i need to just turn in the adjustment some and work with it there. once i get truck back from shop for the exhaust ill make adjustments. but its nice and firm with the properly bled clutch.

before this adjuster the clutch was on the floor

i scanned through all these pages but still have a question. what are you guys doing for wiring on the t56? are you using a t56 harness and mating it with your truck's harness? are the speedometer connections similar or the same to the auto trans? this is the only part of this swap that seems a bit daunting.

I made my own T56 wiring. I wouldn't really call it a harness, because there's not much to hook up really. Just the back up lights, NSS and if you're ambitious the clutch switch. The VSS (vehicle speed sensor) will plug right in, and all that needs to be done to get it to work is tuning.

how do you make the automatic truck think that its in neutral or park so that it will start? is this where the tune comes in? or do you have to actually jump some wires together? sorry for the remedial questions, i am just a little confused about this part.
