Default now its REALLY 4L80E time, please help

well yesterday i drove my truck into my garage to clean it, had been using it in the day drove like 50 miles everything good, did a burnout till 3rd gear and stop there, washed it all happy cleaning every dirty spot i found when i see a little fluid on the ground, couldn't really see where it came from but it was trans fluid, since it was just a lil spot of fluid, afer cleaning the truck i went and did a WOT run just to see if everything was ok, well it was dark but going fast i sow ALOT of smoke, stop right away and fluid was spraying out like crazy all over the place, exhaust thats where the smoke came from, drove a mile to get to a spot where i could park the truck, trans was slipping bad and i just got there when i had no gears

i really think trans will be all messed up, mechanic has the truck now and will give me and update next week

now i wana get parts together for the 80e swap cuz im one with 60e

i have some questions but please don't tell me it has all been covered, i know it has but the more i read the more confuse i get, almost every member did something different more parts less parts, this and that different, please give me a break because i know i have stupid questions because i don't really now about transmissions

plans are 4l80e with a shift kit and a circle d converter

-4l80e: i found a 2005 one at the junk yard
-Converter: i think iŽll give chris at circle d a call and buy a new one
-HD2 shift kit: my best guess is ebay (or where would u recommend and are there different ones??)
-Crossmember: iŽll modify mine, welding is no problem for me
-Wiring i think iŽll do this: https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...g-swap-413157/
Drive shaft: no big deal ive have modified mine and i can do it again

-since i have a 6.0 i should have no problem bolting the trans to the motor right? i think i would just use the flexplate the 6.0 came with (correct me if im wrong)

i had a bad night just thinking what to do and now a bad day still thinking what to do, please can someone help me out??

Thank you

Wait till you see the bell housing of the 80E vs 60E, you will know why you need a 80E dipstick tube...
Braided lines? thats up to you.. i used aeroquip pushlok non braided.
Need front ISS if your gonna run the 80 Tune.

Dont need lower bell housing, but thats up to you also. I havent run one since i put my 80E in.

Converter pan? not sure on that one buddy..

ARP torque converter bolts are nice!

since i read a lot the 80e tune has problems unlocking after 5% throttle release i think i do the connector mod and stay 60e tune

Dont need lower bell housing, but thats up to you also. I havent run one since i put my 80E in.

scratch that from my list for now then

Converter pan? not sure on that one buddy..

If you plan to do braided line or pushlocks then you want these fittings for the transmission

You will get converter bolts with your converter, they are 10.9 grade and 20mm in length. Not an ARP bolts, but very strong and never had a problem even in 1500 HP applications. And like mentioned above, we can build it to fit your 4L60 flexplate. Any questions let me know.
