Default need advice on installing a converter and servo

Forgive me if this has been asked a million times before.
I just received my Circle D 2800 stall and a corvette servo and will be installing in the near future. Hopefully, this isn't too stupid of a question. Is there a way to install both these items without fully draining the transmission? The reason I ask is that the fluid and filter are pretty much new. Also is there anything else I should know about?
Thanks in advance

Neither of those mods requires *fully* draining the transmission. The servo installation results in very minimal fluid loss, but the converter install will require several bottles, some of which will need to be poured directly into the new converter before mounting it.

Look at it this way - it never hurts to freshen up your transmission fluid from time to time because it's pretty hard to ever get 100% of the fluid changed, especially if you only do the (much safer) pan drop. That's why I would also recommend putting in a pan drain plug so you can do partial changes more frequently (and cleanly).

what's the usual quantity of fluid added to the converter? After adding that should I try to further compensate for the additional loss?

You need at least a quart in the new converter but try to get as much as you can in it. I got almost 2 quarts into mine. It is slow to fill up so start early in the day when you start pulling the transmission.
