need advice on installing a converter and servo
#1
Forgive me if this has been asked a million times before.
I just received my Circle D 2800 stall and a corvette servo and will be installing in the near future. Hopefully, this isn't too stupid of a question. Is there a way to install both these items without fully draining the transmission? The reason I ask is that the fluid and filter are pretty much new. Also is there anything else I should know about?
Thanks in advance

Look at it this way - it never hurts to freshen up your transmission fluid from time to time because it's pretty hard to ever get 100% of the fluid changed, especially if you only do the (much safer) pan drop. That's why I would also recommend putting in a pan drain plug so you can do partial changes more frequently (and cleanly).

You need at least a quart in the new converter but try to get as much as you can in it. I got almost 2 quarts into mine. It is slow to fill up so start early in the day when you start pulling the transmission.
