Default Installed C-notch, Shock extenders (edelbrock's need them?)& belltech swaybar

wow!!!!!!!

This thing feels like a sports car now. I installed the c notch so that my belltech 2/4 won't bottom out anymore.

Front suspension is now 3" extended cab springs, which lower the reg cab truck 2.25 ", edelbrock shocks, and energy suspension swaybar endlinks.

Rear suspension is now belltech C-notch, belltech 2" hanger, beltech 2" shackle modified to only lower 1", spring clamps on the front(5" from axle) and back of springs(4" from axle) ( totaling 4 clamps), edelbrock shocks, belltech shock extenders, and belltech rear swaybar kit. total rear lowering with the clamps is around 4". I installed the Belltech shock extenders, because i read a post a few weeks ago saying that someone had talked to edelbrock about their shocks for lowered truck, and supposedly they're required. So since i've been having so many troubles with the rear end riding like crap, i figured install these with my new Cnotch. It was a good gamble, and totally works. Everyone with edelbrocks should give it a 50$ shot.

Total vehicle lowering, including low profile tires (26.7") is 5.25"/6"

I bottom out on the tranny crossmember, and frame rails every so often, and once on the shock extenders I think( they were grading the road, it was loose dirt with a high center.) I'm going to up the tire size next time from 275/40/18 to 295/45/18 increasing diameter like 1.7" to 28.4 bringing the truck up 3/4 of an inch.

This is the economy Hotchkis killer!!!!

Honestly feels like an import sports car on back roads and high speed turns now. ( onramps and such )

I've spent a lot of time trying to figure this thing out. This is the setup!!!, it removes all body roll, rides awsome, not too rough, not too soft. Handles extremely well, and now enables me to drive the truck "power" loose if i want, because it doesn't roll over and unlock the g80 and only spin one.

I'll say it one more time, I love this setup!!!

they're your local autozone bolt on spring clamp for 10 dollars. Look in the truck section, near the energy suspension parts, and the lowering blocks. I'll have pics tommorow. Pretty much the only cure for 4" rear lowering without bottoming out, is a cnotch. Belltech now sells their kits in 3" configurations, because of this. You definatly should get the shock extenders, it works.
