howling/growling noise in front end while in 4x4??

Default howling/growling noise in front end while in 4x4??

havent had this truck very long, and thanks to a good 8" of snow we got today ive been using the 4wd for the 1st time. noticed that im gettin a "mild" growling noise from the front end when locked in 4high or auto. i wouldnt say it sounds BAD it just doesnt sound right. poss a hub going south? anyone have the same prob?

bearings have grease? did you check the fluid in the transfer case, diff case?
