Damn 80psi is a lot. Does it not bounce a lot? I run about 3psi in mine just to fill the bags. If I am hauling a load i air it up to about 30psi. If I have 10psi or more with no load it starts to get bouncy.

No actually it's very firm. What happened was I mounted them to high on the frame because my goal was to tuck my front a little along with the back. They sit @ about 40 psi when I'm tucking in the back. HOWEVER, plans changed after and I went for a wider offset of summer rims. So to tuck in the front I'm gonna require some fender rolling and flareage.

So that's why I run them very high psi.. so the back isn't lower then the front at the moment, can't stand that!

Hey guys long time lurker of the site, first time posting looking for a little wisdom.

I am currently driving a 2001 rcsb chevy 4x4. I am looking to get about a 3/5 drop on it. i was thinking about getting lca from DJM for the front with shackles and hangers in the back and the block removed. Then cranking the bars accordingly to get the proper look.

I think i am clear from drive shaft and cv angle issues. if anyone has any input on a set-up like this and what type of replacement shock i could go with it would be greatly appreciated.

thank you in advance.

Whar are you guys doing with your bumpstops? Jouncers correct? I started with a 2" keys/2" shackles/block removed on my 02. When I did this I pulled the spacer brackets on the rear bumps and cut them down about 1", in the front I cut 1" or so off. I did not like the ride so I went back to stock. This was with new shocks also.

hey thanks.
She launches nice and smooth in 4hi. Grip is insane on the street, LOT of people don't expect it to hook like that in a lowered pick up truck. Especially if they first see me just messing around in 2wd where it only lights'em up on hard launch and doesn't goanywhere, then I switch to 4hi and scoot!
CV angle actually improves upon launch at this height, esp vs lifted, or even stock, where many people seem to get chatter or hop.
