Help me pick a stall

Well the truck needs a stall, the question is what kind? I have heard good things about PI. The TB is very popular and the price is nice also. What is the difference between the 10.5 PI and the 9.5 PI, anyone know? What is the difference in the amount of disks? I am thinking 2500 for stall speed, its a daily driver so I don't want to go too crazy. I was hoping to go 13s on the stock stall , but its not going to happen. So I need some help.

I don't do any towing at all, so that won't be a problem. So the 10.5 will make less heat cause of its size? Is yours a 3 disk? I really think I am going to go with the PI , but just trying to get it all figured out. I only want to it once. Can you feel a big difference from stock with a 2800?

Thats what I am looking for that not so loose feeling, How does it feel just driving around? Its good for everyday driving? What kind of trans temps do you see? 10.5 3 disk might be the choice, Have you ever used a TB?

I am just trying to figure this all out, Its like picking a cam. I feel like the TB is a cheap easy way out, but I know MWalls has had great sucess with it so it has proved itself to me. Its between the TB and PI.10.5 is looking good rite now. I had a TB last year and sold it cause I thought I was done modding, but the bug is back. Now I have heads sitting here and the stall is next.

Probably a dumb question, but is PI Precision Industries? If so, I have one of there converters in my stang and it is great! I don't know all the specs unfortunately since it was ordered for me through a shop, I think it has a 2400 stall on it.
With all this talk about stalls, is there a difference between a truck and car stall speed? I know a lot of people suggest a 2800-3000 stall for the trucks and I think that would be a lot, compared to my stang. Is a higher stall suggested for trucks because they weigh more?

Yes PI is Precision Industries. I don't think there is a difference in stall speed, just if you use your truck to tow then you can't use a high stall converter. I use mine for a daily driver, thats why I am looking to go only 2500-2600 range.

I was almost convinced on a PI, but then a few people had issues with their fit. So then I thought Fuddle, but some people have had converters not stalling at what they wanted, and the holes weren't tapped so you had to use nuts and bolts.
So I think I'm set on a TB converter. It's cheaper and it's a GM part so it will fit right. I can't imagine dropping $700-800 on a performance converter and having to shim it out, ream out holes, or other crap.
