Default Help iding yank converter

Impulse buy here, so I picked up this yank converter but that's all I know about it and the only reason I know that is the sticker.

These numbers are etched on the back of it.

24208326AA / C9FRC179AD

Was supposed to have been behind a 2000 ls1 transam.
Before I stick it in my truck next weekend I'd like any info yall are capable of providing. Sell said it's an ss3600, but he bought it off his racer brother so who knows

It clearly states the stall speed is "Whatever" right on the back.

That style of YANK sticker hasn't been used in a long long time. Maybe even ten years. Might get a quote for having it rebuilt and you can have it stalled at the same time. The handwriting isn't Mikes.

Just got an email back from the folks at yank, the converter is at least 12 years old was built while they had the shop in Florida, wouldn't recommend using it, can't rebuild it new parts won't fit. So I guess I've got a 300 dollar paper weight

501 is an Arkansas phone code. It was built when Yank was in Arkansas. Yank was in Florida like 20 years ago.

Can't say that I wouldn't run it but a refresh is a good idea if you dont know what stall youre going to get anyways.

That sucks donkey *****. Do you know if the original owner was locking the clutch during WOT or shifts? If not probably is OK.

I'd say **** it and run it. Yank Converters are built really well. I dont even know anyone with a Yank that blew it up and it wasn't their fault. There isn't too much that can go wrong with the converter unless the trans it was it grenaded.
