Unhappy HELP!! Front End Pop/Clank

Anytime I make a fairly sharp turn to the left I hear/feel a clank/pop front the front end. So my question is what do you guys think it is? Could it be the balljoint or the tie-rod or possibly the u-joints? Thanks in advance

have you checked any of the suspension components yet? to check lower ball joints jack the truck up about 4 inches and use a pry bar under the bottom of the tire and see if there is any play. everything should move as one..

Sounds like a ball joint if only during sharp turns

It's a pretty bad sound and I'm beginning to wonder if it might have something to do with the rear end by chance. I've had experiences with bad ball joints but man this is on another level and it kinda worries me the way it sounds and feels when it does it.

I agree, i replaced my ball joints, tie rods, upper and lower control arm bushings and idler arm and still had a noticeable clunk when i turned left until i changed the sway bar bushings and end links. Its an easy and inexpensive place to start, you may even want to try and just put a few turns on the sway bar end links first. Mine did it for years and i would have never thought it could have been the sway bar.
