i got the tru cool it's a 28k gvw... it's the biggest one they have listed on the box...
everyone has recommended the 40k but i don't see it listed...
mine measures 11 x 11 x 1 1/2
did i get the wrong one?

I just picked up a 40kgvw like a week ago on ebay. its LPD47391 . Tried searching ebay just now and couldn't find it. So here's the store I got it from, Still has some.

I've got the 40k. It's very nice, but really not needed unless you're running a ton of power or have a really high stall converter or a heavy truck.

traded mine in for the 40k...
whats up with the blue valve thing? is it needed?
should i come outta the tranny into the cooler direct or run it coming outta the radiator?

Not sure what blue thing your talking about.. I would run it by itself, not threw the rad..

How cold does it get in Plano?
If you don't see much of a winter you could do cooler alone, but I''ve read its better to go through the radiator too so the fluid warms up faster.
I think it was Radiator then cooler.
