Default G80 grenaded - what are chances trans is hurt?

Turns out Royces G80 blew up and it wasn't the tranny. Hes got a built tranny, what are the chances the output shaft on the tranny is tweaked?

It all depends on how and when the rear broke. Put it in neutral with the engine off disconnect the D-shaft from the rear end and turn the D shaft clock wise if i remember correctly. If your looking at the back of the trans output shaft. I believe in 1 direction it wont turn. You should have some good tough resistance but it should be smooth.

if its not smooth, if there is no resistance, or if turns and then stops or locks up in a spot its gonna have to be gone through.

Its pretty common to damage a low roller race and or the input sprag when the rear lets loose. Might not be an issue right away but I have seen flat spots in the races from the shock of the rear breaking.
