I know mine does not lock up until my temp gauge gets atleast half way. I believe there is something that keeps the TQ from locking up when its cold.

I also have my misfire tables disable so that wouldn't affect me.

You can raise the misfire count to cure the problem associated with smaller converters. My truck was lean after the install of my dynatechs so....

John is a great guy. I went with a 3900 and when I pull the motor again it will be a 4400. It drives fine even in my heavy pig and really gets some nice 4wd drifts going without nitrous

The trans has to reach a certain temp before it will lock.
Every truck will do this.

3800, but he said it would probably stall way higher than that with my setup. If my coilover/4 link/ 28" drag radial setup hooks the truck really good, I'm going to trash the window switch and see what that biatch will stall to with a nice shot off the line.
