Another thing I might add. The salesman I talked to was top notch. Took the time to return my call fast and didn't hesitate to give me all the info I was looking for. Filled me in on alot of info I was questioning and helped me in making the best decision based on my particular setup.

Id get a retune for the converter, and the LTs while youre at it. But Id say definatly for the converter

yep. or you will run into the problem i had. converter locking as soon as the tranny shifted to third. it just felt like a dawg after that. plus i think longtubes make you lean or fat. can't remember. but it's something i would have adjusted.

Ive always heard the LT's make you fat, but I blew my tranny when I went to run a log so I dont know for sure. Also when you tune for a converter, does anyone know what besides lock up speed needs to be changed?

The smaller converters (9.5-10") sometimes cause false misfires that keep it from locking up. In that case the misfire tables have to be tweeked as well.
