That looks kinda burnt... hard to really tell from the picture though, especially considering i cant smell it... Do you have a scanner by chance??

Yeah from what youre describing it sounds like a transmission issue, another thing to try is to drive it keep it in 3 and see if it does the same thing, just a thought!!!

I took it to a recommended transmission mechanic and he scanned the truck but there weren't any trouble codes, but we took a ride together and he said that second gear is what's wrong. The band is wasted is what he said. He said he could fix that part for 350 or build it again for 850. Red clutches, etc.

My coaches brother also recommended his mechanic to me, so I'll start getting estimates. I don't want to cheap out on this but I do want a good price.
