endlinks on silverado 1500 2001

endlinks on silverado 1500 2001

trying to change the endlinks on a silverado 1500 2001. and i cant seem to get them off its got some type of weird nut on the endlink. like a washer/nut which wont come loose.
any ideas or pointers?

Have you soaked the bolt and washer/nut in penetrating oil of some sort? They might just be fused together if they've never been taken apart.

that would help prolly, but i dont know wat to even use to get it off. ive never seen a nut/washer like that before

one end has a bolt head, put the ratchet on that end and some channel locks holding the "washer" end.

ok thanks.
after the bolt comes loose it just drops down right? then slide in the new one
