Does anyone know which transfer case adapter is use? I proba ly missed it, but I havent seen anyone post yet. Was it the one that came on the 4l80e or the factory one I have now between my 60e and autotrac case?

I believe that you will find that is because of the ratio of 1st gear, specifically its taller than the 60e, the result is a slower 'out of the hole' feeling. A lot of guys will offset this with a higher stall in the converter.

The 60e is typically behind less powerful vehicles and therefore they put a shorter gear in it to get it moving quicker, the 80e is usually behind vehicles with more torque and its usually less noticeable.

Rest assured, your choice to upgrade is still a wise one, while an 80e can still be broken, its usually at a much higher HP level than the 60e.
