If you use this method there is no need to run new wires to the PCM for the ISS: https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...7/#post5092887

But I think the pins are Delphi 12084912. Mouser has them for cheap.

Awesome. I knew I had seen that somewhere. So basically just remove both of those pins from the green and blue, and replace them in to positions 22 and 23, crimp my new ISS connector to them out of the trans plug and im set, no extra wires.

This is for sure one of the best write ups I have read and have just a few questions to get answered as my 80 shows up tomorrow.

What tranny line can I reuse from my 60, Top or Bottom? (was asked on page 31 but no response)

What are you guys using to extend the other line to work with the 80. I see the 2500 Tranny line #15812029 is like $22 and dont know if thats the better way to go then getting compression fittings / Hose and longer rear 80 fitting. (if I replace the full line where does it go to on other end, Radiator or Cooler?)

Will my starter in my Lq4 work just fine with a 6.0 Flywheel now as it does have that spacer on it? ( starter is from my 5.3 that i used 5.3 flywheel on Lq4 and have to change over to lq4 flywheel)

Thanks For any help and cant wait for my new 80 and 3600 stall.

When you do an 80e swap. Which sensor runs the speedo? I'm trying to help a guy out, he did the swap and now has no speedo but they are all hooked up.

All 80es have rear vss sensors. With 4wd you can either use the one in the tcase, or the rear one in the trans. However, I would use the one in the tcase because of 4low. If you never use 4low then you can use either.
