Default Drop shackles?

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone had any experience using 2" drop shackles for the rear to help level the stance. If so, did you have any problems with the front end alignment or any unusual front tire wear? How about the rear bottoming out? Also, how much of a pain are they to install? Lets put it this way, any problems at all with just changing out the rear shackles and everything remains stock? Thanks in advance. BTW, my truck is a 2wd '06 silverado ecsb completely stock.

Your truck looks real good! Thanks for the info, thats what I figured. Now then, do you or anyone know a good brand and a good place to purchase some of these shackles?

I'd say 90% of the people on this board have or have had drop shackles lol. They won't cause any problems with anything, and they are super easy to install(30 mins). Get some belltech 6400, search google for the best price.

They look sweet. I'm picking up some of the 18" five spoke titans with tires for $175. Hoping to get them on in the new year

think about it a little bit, you're not changing ANY of the geometry in the front suspension. how would you cause an alignment problem in the front by changing the rear suspension??? adding the shackles does get a little more time consuming if you have a receiver hitch though, gotta remove it first

2" shackles won't screw up the pinion angle right?
