driveshaft problem

You spoke to them? Now they can do? I spoke to my local driveshaft stop they want try change to solid ujoint spicers and balance next week. Also I think I need try add spacer 1/2 or 1" insert trans mount to line up. I see tail yoke not line up it more lower on mine.

Have you checked your operating angles???? Numerous threads here about what you need to see there.

Also other question. I should turn down from 4.11 to 3.73 because Im running turbo. Some people say not good idea to run 4.11 I need a help feedback. Than waste my money to change gear. I was wonder if you know how much worth GM OEM 3.73 gear would be cost?

There is no harm in running 4.10's, it could just be a bigger factor if you were drag racing this car often. Different gear ratio's can help or hurt your times.

Tire size
Target mph


Punch these in and calculator will tell ya....my truck with 410s with current setup will trap mid 160s...my truck with 342s should be mid 180s

update with yall, today I drop my shaft off. They have to cut off end to weld with 1350 to run solid joint on my reuse shaft or should I go heavy duty shaft whole new one from them. I need decide before I cant text them. They start work on mine tomorrow.

Sad still vibration 90 mph wheel let gas off. I got guy from ard Motorsport rode w me today he says my shaft bad. Am going buy whole new shaft maybe aluminum shaft and all solid u joint also. What you think.

Look into double cardan driveshafts. They don't have vibration issues and aren't too picky about angles. Pretty neat.

wolftrk99 told me about em
