Could do something like this like the rock krawler kit



DJM lower control arms have the right mount but you probably dont want to lower it.

Black04, I am also AWD and would love to do this too. Would you use the djm lca's and what spring/shock height were you looking at through out your research? How low is your truck also?

Hmmm that might work...I was thinking the bracket would rotate, but that middle flat part keeps it from moving.

Someone used to make a bracket similar to that for lift kits but I have been unable to find them. They had more meat to them and a portion of the bracket that used to rest near the arm to fight anti rotation. Those bushings will allow it to rotate.

DS301 was the one I was looking at. The djm lca's would work but id probably strengthen the mounts some more. My truck has drop keys, spindles, djm upper and lowers and a flip kit with shackles on the rear.

I saw other pictures before where they had a plate across the front of the bracket to keep it from moving.

^^^ That right there is the way to go. Anybody worth their salt could make those brackets in 6 months or less.

I found it on their website but they dont appear to make the 4wd chevy kits anymore....and ther f150 kit is $4500! I may call them and see if they have any of those lower brackets left...
