thanks
Are you sure it's not the accessory belt? Hard shifts can cause the belt to chirp.

For the longest time, I feared this mod.... After getting on this forum, it took just under an hour, and she drives awesome.... Thanks to all who contribute....
My only concern, question??? I have the 07 1500 Silverado with...... Yeah, the 60E, 4-speed automatic. Is this servo mod supposed to hold 3-4th much longer?? The truck never felt like it went into OD..... Is this normal?? Or am I unaware that 4th gear is OD??? Is there an increase in miles per gallon after this mod???Thanks for any input..... Shift safe......

Nice write up.
Tagged so I can check this when I do mine in the very near future.

Have any of you guys installed a complete billet assembly?
I understand it will make 1-2 more firm but will it make it neck snapping?

I can't see it making much of a difference.

The best results come from the typical servo install and a tune to reduce the torque management and alter shift points. This was the case for me anyways.

After doing a little more research, the billet assembly is too much for a factory transmission.
The "vette servo" and billet 4th is all that is necessary. Tuning can be done after to further improve the performance.

You'll love it. You'll love it more after a tune. :-) It was easy to install. I didn't have enough time to get drunk while doing it!
