Is it possible to use 4L60E TC with 4L80E? What flexplate and adapters do I need for the TC?

I have PI multi disk 3400 stall lock up TC in my 4L60E that I want to use when swapping to 4L80E. It cost me $950.

You will have to send the converter back to PI to have them rebuilt it for the 80e. The snout that engages the pump is different between the two transmissions.

As well as the stator splines and turbine hub. Your better off selling it and building a new one.

The 60e and 80e converters are fundamentally different internally. Unfortunately you're better off selling it rather than trying to convert it.

PI will however convert it for you if you would like or You can sell it on here and then buy another also. PI's converters all have the LS1 3 bolt pattern though, if you get them to build you a 80E converter it will have a 3 bolt pattern unless they have changed that recently. I had this conversation with Terry @ PI at one point.
