Default Clutch Question

I dont know if this question has been asked here already but i really need an answer. Does anybody know if the clutch for a LS1 f body will work on an 04 silverado with a 4.8l 5spd? I asked a local speed shop and they said they would let me know the next day. well that was a week ago. I know i'll probably get a quicker answer askin it on this forum. any help would be apprieciated
