Default Cam Gears Stall

Patience all you Guru's! I have an 04' ECSB 5.3 , w/3.42 gears. Question is whether to go with a stall first (Yank 3000) gears(3.73) or cam (Z06)?
Which order? What effect would the stall have by itself? Are the new gears even necessary? I was thinking about the cam because of all the things I have read here. Of course I would order custom tune lastly. Some input on this would be appreciated. Just being able to ask this question shows how much I have learned from this site! MY only mod is a Magnaflow Cat Back. Help me out fellows...

i would get a yank 3000 TC. see how you like that with your 3.42's. if that doesn't give you enough launch down low, you can swap 3.73's.

also, LT headers can give you some more power down low.

also, for more HP, try e-fans, CAI, and custom tune like you anticipate on getting.

I would do the shift kit and servos while you do the stall, then get a tune and remove all torque managment, then you'll need new tires
