Default Been looking for tranny and still no luck. Undecided

Well i have been looking for a transmission for about 2 weeks now and i just cant find one that is really good 4l60e out of the crate. Or its just my luck suckering in to everybodys dos and donts. Also whats killing me is all the negativity i get for the lsxrt 102mm now is it crap or ?>? called finishline transmission are they good trannys or not be honest honesty dont hurt a damn bit i wish i had a little more honest people around these parts. Put inputs on what you think of the 4l60e and 4l80e i just dont want to convert to much trouble and i dont know jackety crap haha

Nothing wrong with performance built or FLT. They are as good as you can get. Obviously a 4L80 would be the best bet just depends on your driving habits. I put 130k on my stock 60e with little issue. With your set up a FLT or PB would last a while.

Where are you located? You could also add Ace Racing to your list of sponsors to check out. https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...ecking-486602/

That's good to hear that you have been in contact with him. I know he has been real busy since becoming a sponsor here and I know he appreciates the support from you guys!!! Not sure if you seen this thread but it might help you out some. https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...tranny-489428/

I am running a RPM level 6 and it's bad ***. I went to their shop in Anderson, Indiana here about a month ago and was highly impressed with their whole operation they have going on. I'm running a 3800 single disk converter with it also.
One thing you have to keep in mind is the weight ratio from a C6 to our trucks though. Our trucks are heavy and I felt like going with the best out there so I chose none other then RPM!!!!!!

Here is how I would rate the 3 shops in my opinion..
RPM
FLT (Finish line transmission)
Performabuilt

You want honesty? There you go plain and simple.
Go to RPM's site and look around and then give them a call and ask for TJ. That's the man you need to talk to, just explain to him about what you are looking to do now and in the future and he will point you in the right direction.

RPM is a good group of guys and if they are local to you it would not be a bad choice. With shipping costs these days that's definitely a plus! I know those people personally and have dealt with them for years. Good choice in your situation. Vince
