The NVG149 is a great tcase. heres Chase's truck running 11.1
Silverado SS run 11.1 @ 121 mph - YouTube
and I believe Mark had around 1100-1200hp in his 04 Sierra Denali with the NVG149.

Either way though, neither of my trucks will allow me to switch out while moving... even if I wanted to. not sure what is up with my Autotrac...
stock48 was running high 10s/ low 9s so a few extra gerbil power than normal.


also the front alum housings arent stout enough to use a locker or LSD, only one ive ever seen is a Eaton LSD or a Trutrac for the front of a Hummer H2.

HD front ends offer LSDs and ARB air lockers. I have a thread working on how to convert one to fit a half ton an keep the 6 lug wheels. If anyone has any issues getting out of 4hi under WOT, your tires might be slightly more wore out in the rear and the T case is probably in a slight bind.

got a link to the thread with the front diff swap?

i still cant hook up with the nvg149 but its been good to me and hasnt broke . im pushing at least 1200 tq to it .
