Drilled rotors are for bling, if you use them for repeated heavy duty stops you can cause hair line cracks. Slotted rotors may help, especially if you run HPDE in a vette. For every day driving and towing modern rotors and brake pads will do. Slotted rotors were used in the 70-80's extensively in racing, today you very seldom see them--look at the C6R Corvette. You are better off getting stock rotors and running Hawke HD truck pads or something similar. I tow an enclosed trailer (24' and corvette inside) and use that set up. On the vette I use stock NAPA rotors and racing pads. HTH
