Or if when you do it in a hurry and hot trans fluid runs down your arm when you're under the truck.

What really sucks is chabging a fuel filter at 9:45am getting gas in your arm pit because its being a pain in the *** coming apart and cant take a damn shower until you get off and home roughly 12 hours later.... **** burns!!!

i know what you mean about fuel in the arm pit... bin there done that, i started on the truck around 10 am didn't go anywhere so it was cool, well i did have to drive it up on ramps, but not enough to make it hot.

i had it all together and realized i forgot to put the forth apply piston on so carefully removed the housing without damaging the o ring, then got it all back together.

question, is the vette servo supposed to be really firm shifts? it was a little firm but nothing to write home about.

Servo by itself is a mild mod. When you tune it (me, removing 60% torque management), it really wakes things up and has amazing shifts.

lol, i took my time doing this. really didn't want to mess things up. i did have to go bake and remove the cover for the servo to add the 4th apply piston... i got all dont got up from under the truck and seen the 4th apply piston sitting in my magnetic tray that i had the trans pan bolts in and was like ****....

Damn typed out a whole response and lost it some damn where wtf???

Anyway here we go again, the vette servo will firm shifts up slightly, and its not goin to give necksnapping shifts by itself, but the increase in holding power is well worth the upgrade. after few 1/2 shifts the babysitter that gm apparently thought we all need ,known astorque management, will take over and reduce the firmness as the trans adaptive shift points take over and basically try to bring the firmness back to what its used to it being, however you can do a few things to increase firmness, turn the setscrew up a 1/4 turn on the EPC solenoid or reduce the nanny's influence through the pcm with a tune....

im going to leave it alone for now, i may get a tune later on down the road. i wasnt sure what to expect with the vette servo to be honest. it seemed to be a little more firmer then stock. my test drive seemed to shift out of first gear like it should and not hold it. so that was good. but am going to let it sit maybe until tomorrow and test it again to make sure its not just my head thinking its shifting like it should.
