whats a good tuner? or would someone local be better option? im not sure i want a tune yet since i still have stock gears witch i think are 3.42s and haven't picked up my 32" tires.

 

I personally like dealing with steve at efi performance/tunedbyfrost.com his shop is about a 2 hour drive from me in richmond, VA.... Lil stuff like youve done/doing are decent for mail orders.... Dont necessarily need a full in person tune really until you start getting heavy into mods..... Be nice but not particularly needed

 

true i don't think im going to go full retarded with mods. truck has 170,000+ miles.

 

Mine had 261,xxx when the 5.3 went out.. Then she got 6.0 bored .030 over, cam, ls3 heads, efans, 34" radiator,new k&n intake, full hydroboost conversion, conpletely "new" interior, full ac system, led dash conversion, new front gears and bearings....at one point i was six cab bolts from having the entire truck torn apart and considering i had to put a new set of nerf bars on it, was really only two bolts, truck got painted, new sound system, bout to put another trans in it, and convert it to heated mirrors, longtubes and a much better cam for my setup, and still need to rebuild my transfer case.....

 

This was my truck about 2 years ago!!!
