well thats good. i want this transmission to last.
how does the pinless accumulator piston work?
it says to put one of the steal ***** were the pin would be?

so i guess it comes with 2 *****, one is for the cover for the 1-2 accumulator and if you are doing the 3-4 the other ball is for that.

Most truck have deep pans, there are exception, but most have a deep pan. The back end of the pan steps up and gets shallower. Gaskets are the sameits the filter thats different... The deep pan typically has thick plastic filter with legs on bottom of it the shalow is more of a flat plastic/metal filter... I have a pic ill upload when i get home of a deep pan filter!!! The proline pn for the deep pan filter kit is ppl1267.... Purolator should be same except drop the first p.....

As far staking the hole a small punch or chisel work well just want to create a lip that the ball cant get past... And a small punch or roll pin punch should do the trick for the rod..

ok i understand the stake the hole now but what do you mean a small punch or roll pin punch?

i have punches, but not sure how that would work if there is no opening on the other side.
