im not sure, its a used truck, is there anyway to tell if its the stock trans?

but only when cold. once its warmed up its fine.

Seals hard on accumulator maybe??? When theyre cold it sticks or pins worn, stock i do remember that being a plastic piston. Pull pan and check the accumulator housing for wear... As well as the piston...

the only thing that leaves me puzzled is that it only does it if the transmission is cold.

Should be able to reuse the stock spring... Order from rockauto, got 2 of them shipped for less than what everyone else wanted for one before shipping...fluid has different thickness cold and warm...
