99-07 4WD Front Coilover Conversion

I am really not sure what to say then if everything is installed correctly, do you mind sending me some pictures just to make sure? I usually keep my shocks around 10-12 for daily driving if maybe that helps you some.
Not sure what to say about the turning radius, I havent heard that one before. Do you have drop spindles? Those generally impact the turning radius.

However, before I dump any more money into this thing I need to figure out why there is so much lost turning radius. I have stock spindles so not sure whats going on but my brand new tires are wearing hard because of how much I have to crank the wheel to make a normal turn.

I have the lifted style both upper and lowers. My truck has a 6in fabtech lift on it. It rides a million times better than it did with torsion bars especially if you have your torsions cranked up.
Also Atomic is extremely fast at replying to any questions or dificulties you may have. But I doubt you will because the setup its pretty easy.
(Edit) Yes my truck is also a 4x4

Thanks Dan, glad you still like them!
There are many people using the lifted brackets using all different brand lift kits. All the 6in kits are basically the same. Feel free to ask any questions!

I only learned of this conversion yesterday but it has certainly peaked my interest. I have the large amount of slack in the torsion to LCA and am only riding an inch away from the bump stop. This seems like an absolute solution.
Dan, would you mind sending me or posting a few pics of your setup please?

I know you didn't ask me specifically, but here is the thread he made on it, https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...rvoirs-543588/
I will say the stuff he had to do as far as cutting my bracket in half (made me cry a little bit) and trimming the lower bracket are due to his shock selection of FOA shocks. I recommend QA1 or Viking shocks which should not require any of those modifications.

Yes that is my conversion post. It was alot of work and unless you are very experianced dont go with giant coilovers like I did. If you pick some like Atomic suggests it will be a very simple install! I only went with big ones because I wanted to be different.
Post some pics of your truck or a link to a build if you have one!
Heres a link to my build if you want some more pictures. https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...537246/page14/

hey atomic i see that a guy with a 1500hd commented on here about the conversion and i was wondering if it would work and if i want to lift my truck like 2-3in i just need to put my jack under it and take the shock measurements like that?

If the 1500hd LCA is like the 1500 one then yea my brackets will work just fine, but if it is like the 2500 then my brackets will not work. If you can post a picture of where the shock attaches to the LCA I can tell you for sure. If you have the 2500hd style LCA then you can still do the swap if you bolt the coilover directly to the LCA (and not use my brackets). Yes that is the correct way to measure.
