From standard height, a 3" drop or 3" lift is doable with just coilovers. Yes, cv and steering angles still come into play. The front end geometry doesnt change; just how you gain/loose the height does.

Yes.

$180 shipped for a set of just lower or uppers, or $315 shipped for both.

Great guy to buy from and knows his stuff. These brackets are build like a tank. I'm still gathering parts but should have a post on it fairly soon.

What is the limit on lifting the front before wear is really increased on the front end components and cv's?

No different with coilovers than normal cranking...couple inches, depending how hard you drive it.

I haven't seen anything talking specifically to the cost of this from a-z.

Anyone have a guess? I love the idea of doing this. Also, does it seem that limiting straps are unnecessary for the track after this swap?

I dont use straps and have not had any problems with shocking the tire.

Total cost is roughly 700-800 depending on what exact parts you use. The most expensive item is the shocks.

This has me seriously thinking. It would also make my life a lot easier with the dual 3 into 4" exhaust system... I'm sure you love the added space with the exhaust you're running.

Oh yea, clears up a lot of room under there. It was nice having the tbar crossmember to support the tcase when im taking stuff apart, but its a small price to pay. I may make a small crossmember for just that purpose at some point. Still have the factory crossmember in the corner of the garage, but I use the torsion bars as workout equipment now

so since I have your attention... what parts combo do you recommend? If I'm going to pursue this I want to have a clear understanding of what would be best for me.

It depends on your ride height, which is why I ask every one to measure before I recommend parts.

But in my case, I have my cvs perfectly level, which means a 1-2" drop, I have

qa1 ds301 shocks
procomp shock adapters
upgraded steel bearings
hyperco 1300lb springs
generic bumpstops
little spacers for the bolts
qa1 washer/spanner wrench
