I didnt say MAYBE fixed in the tune. I said it WOULD need to be tuned.

o ok sorry jake. Miss read that. Well allen got back ahold of me friday and said there was nothing he could do about this with the tune. He said call transgo and ask them. Tried that but no one answered the phone.

Maybe its a good thing bro, cause if your truck is anything like mine 1st is pointless, lol. Mine losses traction from 50 sometimes depending on the weather. And thats turning heavy *** 31 1/2 tall 22" wheels.

It can be setup in the tune to stay in low. The old HD2 would force low and keep it no matter what the commanded shift was. However this causes issues with setting codes.

i know this thread is old as dirt but ive been fighting this exact same issue with my 80e and i have a transgo hd2 in it aswell. did anyone ever find a fix for this?? i can have it in low 1st and it will shift to second around 35mph and it tries this mess and is killing my 60' at the track. i even hooked my Jakes manual control box back on the trans and it still does it so i know its definitely internal. i hope someone has some help for this....please....
