Drove around for about 20-30 miles n when i get home to pull my truck in the shop i noticed it bein slugish and not takin the gears well. This morning i pull the truck out of my shop and reverse wasnt workin tried all other gears nothing. Anyone have a clue wat this could be??

Oil level? Sounds like an electronics issue unless it has been acting up for awhile.

Yeah, def doesnt sound like hard parts. Do you self tune?

What is not taking gears well? harsh shifts? sluggish shifts?

I check for codes but none came up. my tranny temp was only 160° when driving last night fluid is still pink no sign of bein burnt

Did you move the shifter to the manual ranges like manual low? This is not an electronic issue BTW. With a no movement condition I would get a pressure gauge on the trans to see whats going on to start with.

Yes i moved it back and forth with no luck. The trans is a fresh rebuild. This was the first time i drove it since rebuild. A transgo shift kit was installed as well. I will check the line pressure this evening. Would it work to take off a cooler line and see if its sprayin oil out? I dont have a gauge handy at the tim e

I went through every connection already cleaned em out with connector cleaner and tested all fuses traced all the wires for shorts found nothing. Is it something in my vavle body or possibly the pump?

If you just put in a Shift Kit and the tranny had no pressure issue's before that. I would be looking at the VB. But too me, it sounds like you are loosing your pressure somewhere. You need to put a gauge on it. Pulling a plug or a line will make a mess but it won't give you a number.

Shift kit was installed with the rebuild and like stated i just took it for a test drive for about 30 miles. My truck only has about 400-450 rwhp which shouldnt be enough to break it.

Rebuild come with a warranty? Put a gauge on it and see if the pump is doing it's job and start from there.

It sucks when a NEW tranny gives you trouble. I was MAD when my 80E started shuttle shifting and not locking up. I rebuilt the VB yesterday and was cussing it for giving me trouble. It has 200K on the build..
