Default 4L80E guys......

What do your trans temps run during normal driving, hard driving, track passes etc...

It would also be helpful to know your cooler setup, ambient temps, converter size and approximate power levels...

I've been driving my dad's stock 2500 crew-cab 6.0. In the morning, it gets up in the 150°F range and in the afternoon, its in the 175 range. These are according to the cluster.

All stock.

Tick over 150, I'll say 160, on the road converter locked and cruising. 90's ambient. It will hit 170-180 running around town stop light to light riding the converter. It will cool back down to 160 once I get rolling and the converter locks. About the same at the track. Very seldom hot lap it so no input there. In radiator cooler with a 30K LPD cooler. 2800 PI converter. 475 ish wheel I'd guess cruising around. 500+ at the track with the nitrous.

In general my 80e tends to run 20-30 higher than my 60e.

my built one ran hotter than my stock 80e. The stock has a 3200 PI stall, the built one had a pretty much stock TC. Probably in the 160 range with the stocker. the built one has seen around 200 pretty easy. I run the stock in rad cooler, as well as a decent size trucool.

Mine averages about 170. If i drive it hard or am doing a lot of stop and go it will creep to 200. I just have a bolt on lq4, stock stall and a 28k plate cooler.
