Get in touch with 00buckshot. If I can remember the name of the trans. controller, I'll get ahold of you.

At one point, he had an 80E. I don't know if he still had an 80E when he first had the carb. or what--haven't talked with him in a long time.

I want to say that TCI makes what you're looking for. I'm thumbing through the Summit catalog to see if I can find what I'm talking about.

I had an 80e with my fuel injection setup, then went to th350 with my carb setup. I would just buy a full manual transgo hd-3 shift kit if i was goin to put an 80e behind a carb'd engine. I never fuckked up a th350 or an 80e.

fast ez-tcu. cheapest i've found and it has good reviews. around 570 for the controller. there are kits out there for cheaper that will make it a full manual without opening the trans up. i think mad dog trans on tech has them.

do you shift from the floor or the column? do you just have a switch to lock the converter? i'm interested in how it's done...

I have a B&M Pro-Stick floor shifter. I could have used the column shifter no problem, but I've always wanted the floor shift. I just have a toggle switch to lock and unlock the converter. Super simple.
